William Marazzi is a painter and fine art artist who works in the the tradition of the Orientalist traveling painters of the past centuries, setting up camp as it were at some exotic historic spot wherever a subject matter fascinates by his inspiration.
The website purpose is to show his major artworks and to promote himself. According to the objectives, I tried to keep the website minimal to make his works outstanding. And I picked up the neutral colours for the background so that it would not distract artworks. As a result, I made use of slideshow with large pictures to attract users' attention on the homepage,. Additionally, on the gallery page, I chose to use big size of thumbnails and make all flow throughout the page so as to make users easily grasp pictures they want to view.
